Twink'd hunter and tanking Kara

I've been back playing, only took about a week or 2 break. I started playing my hunter because I read the BRK blog constantly. I'm hooked on my BM hunter, I went from level 44-49 in a few days, and that's where I stopped the leveling, because pvp is fun, and I can dominate people (sometimes) with my semi-twink'd hunter. Still need a few more items and a couple enchants to be a full twink. But with time they will come, hopefully. The hardest piece I need to acquire is the helm from the rare spawn in Maradaun. Along with some ____of the Monkey pants and shoulders and chest from Sunken Temple. The other pieces I'll get are PvP rewards, so need to earn the marks for them.


On another note, we finally got back into raiding in my guild after a long break. Our main raid leader/tank is taking care of personal stuff, so a couple other people in my guild took the lead. Of course we needed a tank, so out comes Balz =0P Saturday we went through and killed all bosses through Curator in Karazhan. It was a good night, I got the set gloves from Curator. After that run, went to Mech to get some rep, I needed 1900 more to get exhalted, so did a quick run on normal mode with some heavy hitters. Was short 550 rep after that run, a couple people had to sleep, so me, my wife, and our friend a mage, 3 man'd the trash mobs in there with no problems until I got my rep so I can get the exhalted shield.

Sunday's run went well IMO. We downed the Shade of Aran after about 3/4 tries, even after our shammy healer moved during a Flame wreath. Thought we were done when that happened, but the people that lived kept it up and downed him with about 5 people standing. Went over to Illhoof to take advantage of my wife's uber lock damage, after a couple tries we took him down. Tried Prince after that but couldn't get it done with 2 warriors, a rogue, and feral druid that just tried to stay back and heal, too many melee classes. I didn't tank Illhoof or prince, I let the other prot spec'd warrior do it so I can DPS with my axes. Which I'd have to say, I did pretty well. Ended up 3rd on SWStats, but that's after tanking most the trash until the Chess event when the other warrior logged on. No King's Defender, hopefully one day it'll drop for me. Despite all the wipes on the bosses, (and the healers letting me die constantly on trash >.< , I said it went well because: Shade is our biggest problem, can't remember the last time we killed him. The past couple months we just skip him and go to chess and then Prince. Illhoof's death is the 2nd time it's happened for our guild, so that was a good night.

The rogue is resting for now, kinda burned out playing him, all I do now is PvP on the hunter, or level up my shaman who's at 32, he'll eventually dual wield along with all my other toons, even my hunter is DW'ing with an axe and sword.
